The original work

Continuous worship means continuous coordination.

People serve across two locations, with different availability, recurring responsibilities, and the need for rest. The real challenge was bringing these moving parts into a scheduling process that reflected ministry life.

  • People and roles across both locations
  • Recurring duties and individual availability
  • Required rest and open watches

How we shaped it

Understand the rules before building the system.

The software needed to follow the ministry’s actual process. We brought onboarding steps, availability, commitments, and rest considerations into the design so they could inform the same workflow.

  • Connect invitations, applications, and approvals
  • Model the rules and exceptions that matter
  • Keep people, commitments, and coverage connected

What we created

A custom scheduler around the ministry.

The system brings onboarding and scheduling into one application. Leaders can coordinate assignments and see open watches across both locations, while the scheduling process accounts for the people and commitments behind each watch.

  • People and onboarding in one place
  • Availability, duties, and rest in the scheduling process
  • A shared view of assignments and open watches
